I love outdoor week every year I do it. Today was the 7th time I have been on the Rain Forest Express. The glow worms looked like the night sky and the weta's had huge long legs.
We saw cave wetas in the first tunnel in the entrance of the 158m-long-tunnel on the train and we saw glow worms in Halwes tunnel in the Rain Forest express. By Soo Hyun
Hi Chrissy. It sounds like the sleepover was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed sleeping at MERC. You will get to sleep at MERC next year when you are a Year 4.
I liked the sleepover at MERC and the activities they were fun for dinner i had bread and a sausge in it with some chips and for dessert we had jelly ice cream and that made me full.
i liked merc the best because we get to do fun stuff like kyaking an bogy broding and i also like the sleep over because at nigt you get to eat jelly and icecream.

i slept at MERC with my friend Annie it was only us in one room but there was a big bedroom with bunkbeds they were cool but it was to many girls so we slept together in one bedroom
Hey zoe i liked the sleepover too. But it was kind of scary but i did like it and i enjoyed the movie up it was so funny and i really liked the food there and the milo and the hotdogs and the ice cream by: lara

Hi James B. My favorite thing was kayaking! The most difficult thing was stackem! it was nearly.My favorite thing as well The thing that I hated was slingshot.We kept doing backfires.Archrey was perfectly fun when I was yr 3.That tunnnel was quite scary but really really fun.Hope we can go there again!

hi yr 3& 4 the thing i liked was rock climbing at MERC AND i got to the top and all so i liked kayak surfing we couht alot of waves. I really felt happy!!!!!!!!!!

My favorate activity at merc was Bodey Bording becuse i actuly went in the water with my broken arm. I found some pretty shells and my fave one was a rusty orange colur. I slept in a bottm bunk and Renee slept on the top and she too has a broken arm. For dinner I had 1 sosage and 1 hamburgur.
Hi akoranga my favourite part of outdoor week was merc. My favourite part at merc was stack'em. And kayaking was hard because we had to put 1 foot in another persons kayak.
I like going to north head tunnles beceuse I went in the tunnles and it was dark.Next I went to see the movie the movie was all about north head tunnles.I had a asome day at the sleep over at the hall.

I liked the sleepover because we had burgurs. We wached a movie and it was Up. My favoite part was when the dog caled Dug knocked on the door and then the old guy said Come in the door is unloced. the do ran in and said master master i missed you. i love you

I like MERC because the activitys and I liked Kayaking best, the Raft Building and the Body Boarding but I like the riding the train more than MERC Because you could see the Glow Worms and it was very dark so it kind of looked like a night sky with green stars.I also liked how they decorated the last cave with fake Spiders There was just 1 thing I hated and that was the Bushwalking because it takes so long and so tiring.The thing I learned from the trip was that there are 2 dams the upper one and the lower one. It was an extremely awsome outdoor week.

hi lara did you enjoyed your year 3 sleepover in the hall i enjoyed my year 4 camp at merc we got to sleep on bunk beds because me and nicola an the other girls that wre sleping in the same room as us we got bunk beds our room were where full of 9 bunk bed 19 people wre sleping in our room i like my room beause we got to sleep on bunk beds some oter rooms get to sleep on bunk beds to but not all of the room had bunk beds. by carmen.
I like Merc and my faverite actvity was Raft Building.Then I liked Slingshot. The puzzle was not that hard and my ones went petty high. I was scared to do Abseiling and in the end I didn't do it (that was a relief) and then we went to the rainforrest. I had to walk first (which is very annoying and tiring.)
It was my first time sleepover outside at MERC without my parents.I like stack'ems the best.At the Rain forest we walked a longway and it was rocky.We saw one Dam.I saw a Big stick in the water and I saw water coming in. At the train we went inside the 10 tunnel and we saw some glow worms, they were like stars.The Wetas' legs was really big .
This is the first time I have been on the Rainforest Express - what a beautiful place full of wonderful sights! The train ride was so peaceful and an amazing experience.

i like going to the rain foresst because we did a bush walk and sat on the train throw the cave all 10 cave he said we where going to vistwe saw shiny glow wroms and brwnish
ReplyDeleteblacklish weates my fravoite cave was the glow wrom cave and when you go in to the cave you cant see any one arpart from the glow wrom one because the glow wrom glow thats why they are called glow wrom they glow ngreen light i really enjoyed seeing the glow wrom cave it was so fun going on the rain forest express the end.

ReplyDeletehi lara did you enjoyed your year 3 sleepover in the hall i enjoyed my year 4 camp at merc we got to sleep on bunk beds because me and nicola an the other girls that wre sleping in the same room as us we got bunk beds our room were where full of 9 bunk bed 19 people

I like Merc and my faverite actvity was Raft Building.Then I liked Slingshot. The puzzle was not that hard and my ones went petty high. I was scared to do Abseiling and in the end I didn't do it (that was a relief) and then we went to the rainforrest. I had to walk first (which is very annoying and tiring.)

ReplyDeleteIt was my first time sleepover outside at MERC without my parents.I like stack'ems the best.At the Rain forest we walked a longway
ReplyDeleteand it was rocky.We saw one Dam.I saw a Big stick in the water and I saw water coming in. At the train we went inside the 10 tunnel and we saw some glow worms, they were like stars.The Wetas' legs was really big .
